Backed into a corner by software

At our recent BCFA Open exhibition we took the opportunity to speak with our exhibitors about their opinions on the cost of software.

This Big Topic discusses the investment which our members have made into their software and how they have structured their sizeable investment. We consider how members balance the feeling of being ‘backed into a corner’ with the benefits which state of the art software can bring to their business.

We would like to open this debate further as ask for your experiences and opinions on the high costs of software, is it perfectly reasonable to demand a high price for a procession product or are we being ‘held over a barrel’ because it is a product that we can’t do without?
