Product Focus: GOODWOOD With Katerina Zachariades, Morgan Furniture

Goodwood is a collection of high back and low back lounge chairs, designed by Katerina Zachariades. Inspired by freeform shapes created by art mobiles and hand carved timber sculptures, the Goodwood armchairs incorporate a distinctive timber detail.

We caught up with Katerina during Clerkenwell Design Week to find out a bit more about this collection…

By combining flowing curves with a sculptural, profiled timber component the chair has an air of lightness and elegance.

The Goodwood collection is machine cut from solid walnut or oak with a handcrafted aesthetic, the frame is manufactured in a combination of plywood and timber and the upholstery includes foam and a feather/foam combination for the back cushion.

Goodwood also offers a high back chair and a fully upholstered arm option all with loose lumbar cushion to add both luxury and comfort.
