Designer’s Muse: Be by Bisley

With the Manchester Open only days away, we are taking a closer look at the 27 BCFA member exhibitors.

Bisley is one of those well known brands within any office or school, their iconic storage has been a staple in many peoples lives, but did you know they first entered the interiors market with a steel folded square bin? and before that they were making door panels for cars! it is incredible to see how much the company has adapted, and now comes another time in their history where they are having to alter their product to adapt to changing workplace.

This is what Be has managed to do, with storage becoming less and less prominent in offices, with less of a need for paper files, as everyone can now store most of their files on their computer or the cloud (whatever that is), the creative minds behind Bisley have put together a product that has looked into the way people work and what they need to store, more spaces has been created for personal items say a gym bag for after work.

We managed to grab an interview with product developers Liam Corbett and Gareth Plenty to discuss to story behind Be and take a look around their amazing factory in Newport
