Exhibitor Q&A: Martin Kellaway , MD at Lincrusta

You may recognise Lincrusta wallcoverings from the walls of some of the worlds most iconic interiors, from the White House to the Titanic. This year they are celebrating their 140th Anniversary and to celebrate will be showcasing some new designs alongside some of their golden-oldies at the Manchester Open

We had a chance to pick the brain of Lincrusta‘s MD, Martin Kellaway. Have a look at what he said below;

What are you most looking forward to showcasing at the Manchester Open?

We are planning to launch two new designs which will be the first time we have launched something new in 4 years so it’s an exciting time for us.  Also our creative styling of decorative effects in different designs.RD1963FR Aphrodite Highlight web

What are your predictions for the future of design within contract environments?

That design will remain equally, if not more, important and vital in the development of new products.

What is exciting you about design in the north at the moment?

The north has always been a vibrant and that is reflected in design style and culture. The Sage gallery in Gateshead is a typical example of a new modern design in a great urban setting. RD1969FR Rocco Highlight web
What do you love most about your industry?

It’s always a challenge, the unpredictability of peoples choices and tastes, but very rewarding when a new design really takes off.
