Graduate Profile: Joseph Donohue
As part of our series exploring the work of UK Design Graduates we spoke to Joseph Donohue about his project ‘Human’.
Joesph will be graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with an MDes in Product Design. We asked him about ‘Human’:
‘Human is a service that starts with a projector. Designed for the ‘cable-cutter’ generation, Human brings all of your subscriptions onto a clean platform. Human is special, it knows how you are feeling, over time it sends you gifts of small slides made just for you. These slides encapsulate an emotion which is personal to you with a one of a kind design. This means that finding something to watch is a breeze; by loading a slide, Human finds you a range of titles pulled from across your subscriptions, which are curated to best fit your current mood.’
Joseph said of his plans for the future: ‘I am looking forward to getting involved in more product and service design, challenging how we interact with them and providing solutions for our ever-growing and changing needs.’
