Review: Maison et Objet, Paris

Once again The BCFA have crossed the channel to attend Maison et Objet in Paris this September. This enormous exhibition covers all the bases, from objects for the home to high-end interior products. This years show brought in 64,000 professional visitors, and more than 3,000 exhibiting brands from 64 different countries. Of the 8 different zones featured here, a new area named ‘Project’ was our main focus of interest. We investigated this space, that currently featured products for luxury domestic projects. M&O told us that they are looking to develop ‘Project’ further for larger projects and ultimately hospitality. We will certainly be keeping an eye on this, and inform our members of any offers & opportunities that may be available in the future.

Whilst not a perfect show for contract currently, it is still a great inspiration and we found some amazing products, finishes and ideas that are well worth a visit. Check out some our personal highlights in the gallery below.
