The tired office building in the city fringe has been re-imagined as a bold, contemporary workspace with more space, a basement designed to be cycle-friendly and an innovative new façade.

The façade stands proud against the forbidding aesthetic of its neighbours with a striking and technically demanding, multi-layered gold mesh. The layering gives unusual views out of the building by framing the streetscape outside and offers a unique visual effect from the street whereby the facade appears to change as you pass by, momentarily revealing a circular motif that is repeated throughout the interior design.

As you enter through a brand new front door, the sculpted and polished plaster and a bespoke terrazzo floor give subtle texture to the expanded entrance and reception interior, adding cool glamour to the seven storey building. Elsewhere, office floors are enlivened with clean concrete soffits, exposed services and new glazing to make the most of the incredible views out onto the historic Bunhill cricket ground behind.
