Spires Art Hospital Transformation

SOUTH WEST ACUTE HOSPITAL ENNISKILLEN

The South West Acute Hospital opened its doors to patients at 8am on 21 June 2012. Patients were transferred from the Erne Hospital as it closed its doors to all future admissions. The new £276 million hospital project started in 2006 and took six years to complete from planning to building to handover. It was completed on time and within budget.

“I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you personally and the staff of Spires Gallery generally for the support given to me during the design development and final installation of the integrated art for the new Enniskillen hospital. As you know this was a sensitive and mammoth task and one that your company handled in a very professional manner. From the outset you understood the needs of the designers and the environment they wished to create, and your company played a large role in achieving that common goal.  Now that the hospital has opened your art and interiors have been admired and enjoyed by all.”
