Anthology’s new collection of wallcoverings: DEFINITION

BCFA OPEN SPRING DESIGN exhibitors Anthology, are proud to announce that they will be exhibiting this wonderful new collection, on stand 28. March 28th & 29th at the Old Truman Brewery, London. Anthology_2017_PR_Definition_01_resizeTo complement the existing compendium, the Anthology studio has produced Definition, a diffusion range of statement wallcoverings. Expertly combining an edgy, ‘street’ style with a slightly ethereal vibe, Definition is very ‘of the moment’.Designers Louise Draper and Linda Thacker explain:

“Definition has been inspired by geology and crystals: more figurative and mystical than previous Anthology ranges, it adds an extra intensity of colour and design. The result is a breath-taking collection of wallcoverings, multi-faceted, serene and powerfully effective.”

Definition comprises eight statement designs, two of which are dramatic, digitally-producedpanels. It has been manufactured using the most technically-advanced machines and state-of–the-art production methods.

Definition has the most magical palette of colours, a mixture of gentle, restful neutrals offset by intense pops of delicious hues: travertine; Botswana agate; scapolite; azurite; snowflake obsidian; picture jasper; blue john; amber & labradorite; heliodor; topaz; tourmaline; smokey quartz; hematite; crystal quartz; lapis & amazonite.Anthology_2017_PR_Definition_12_resizeThe wallcoverings are complemented by two striking 100% Trevira CS, wide-width fabrics, both of which meet the stringent requirements of the contract market, as well as being suitable for chic domestic applications. Senkei, which means ‘linear alignment’ in Japanese, has a fragmented, appropriately linear structure with a mix of both matte and shiny yarns to create contrast texture in the design.

Its mineral and metallic tones provide a sense of richness and glamour: some of the colourways are twisted to create a two-tone or cross-colour effect and there are 18 colours in total, including ‘Antique brass’, ‘Moonstone’, ‘Onyx’ and ‘Copper’. Izolo has a rich satin sheen, a slub-effect and a beautiful drape: it can also be used as a dim out, so no need to line for blinds or curtains. The colour palette is inspired by precious stones and rich metallic tones. There are 21 colours in total, including ‘Aventurine’, ‘Petrol’, ‘Midnight’ and ‘Gold’.Anthology_2017_PR_Definition_14_resize
