In our latest feature, we explore how Spires Art helped bring this luxurious cocktail bar to life through a curated collection of bespoke artwork. Collaborating with the visionary 21 Spaces and the O’Callaghan Collection, Spires Art created pieces that elevate the space’s moody palette and cinematic ambiance.

From vintage-inspired portraiture to expressive figurative works, every piece is a nod to storytelling, artistry, and timeless sophistication. Set against Murano chandeliers, fluted velvet chairs, and rich burgundy tones, the art is decorative and defines the atmosphere.

“The future of design relies on transparency, collaboration, and material responsibility.”

This was the resounding message from Material Impact: Designing with Purpose.

The conversation brought together voices from hospitality, workplace, and sustainable manufacturing to explore how materials shape interiors and the experiences, values, and outcomes behind them.

✨ Joanna Knight (Sustainable Design Collective) championed take-back schemes and circular logistics as essential to sustainable product strategy.

✨ Jack Pringle (Studio Pringle) showed how reusing materials like ceiling tiles and partitions adds authenticity and value to design.

✨ Sam Hall (IHG Hotels & Resorts) offered a hospitality lens on neuroinclusive and regenerative design.
