At this year’s Commercial Interiors UK Annual Luncheon, Chairwoman Carolyn Mitchell delivered a speech to more than 540 members and guests, a heartfelt reflection on the power of community, leadership, and collaboration within our industry.

In her address, Carolyn explored what truly connects us: the people behind every project, the responsibility we share to lead with integrity, and the impact of design on how we live, work, and come together. She reminded us that success is never built alone, it’s achieved through care, creativity, and connection.

“You have the power to be the difference. These relationships are the foundation of everything we hope to achieve.”

As Carolyn steps down as Chairwoman and from the CIUK Board, she leaves a lasting legacy of inclusivity, leadership, and belief in the strength of our collective community.
