The Geberit Group
The globally operating Geberit Group with headquarters in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland, is a European market leader in the field of sanitary products and celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2024. The product range consists of sanitary technology, piping systems, ceramic appliances and bathroom furnishings. Geberit is therefore able to offer comprehensive solutions for private and public sanitary facilities from a single source. The products are suitable for both new buildings and renovations.

Geberit supports market partners from the construction industry and commerce with a broad range of training opportunities that consistently uses digital possibilities but also incorporates practice-oriented courses at one of Geberit’s 30 training centres. Furthermore, the employees in the field service team support wholesalers, showrooms, plumbing companies as well as planning offices and architects with personal and in many cases also project-related advice. Likewise, property investors and end users can take advantage of an extensive range of information and advice.

With 26 production facilities in Europe and 4 overseas, Geberit ensures a high level of production and exceptional quality standards. For the development of new products, technologies and manufacturing processes, the Group has a team of around 450 scientists, engineers and specialists at its headquarters and in local units, as well as extensive technical infrastructures and labs. A long-standing average of around 35 patent applications a year demonstrates the company’s high innovative strength.

Sustainability has been an integral part of Geberit’s long-term corporate strategy since 1990. For this reason, all sanitary products and services are developed under consideration of economic, ecological and social aspects. New products are developed according to the principle of eco-design: Considering the entire product life cycle – from the provision of raw materials to disposal – each product must be better than its predecessor from an ecological point of view, without compromising quality, functionality or durability.

With around 11,000 employees in more than 50 countries, Geberit generated net sales of CHF 3.1 billion in 2024. Thanks to the ongoing high profitability and a healthy financial foundation, the company has the means to continuously invest in long-term growth and productivity optimisations while creating value for shareholders. Geberit shares are listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and part of the SMI (Swiss Market Index).
