Actiu is a Spanish furniture manufacturer with more than 50 years’ experience creating innovative solutions for workplaces, hospitality settings and public spaces. Founded in 1968 by Vicente Berbegal, the family-owned company designs and manufactures all of its products at its headquarters in Castalla, Alicante, combining industrial expertise with a strong culture of design and sustainability.

The company offers a comprehensive portfolio including task seating, workstations, meeting and collaborative furniture, soft seating and ancillary products that support the evolving needs of hybrid and activity-based workplaces. Guided by its Life Friendly Spaces philosophy, Actiu develops furniture that adapts to people and the different ways they live, from focused individual tasks and collaboration to learning, creativity and social interaction.

Sustainability and wellbeing are central to Actiu’s approach. A B-Corp company, its Technology Park headquarters is also internationally recognised as a benchmark for sustainable industrial architecture and was the first industrial complex in the world to achieve both LEED Platinum and WELL 2 Platinum certifications. The campus incorporates renewable energy generation, efficient water management, natural lighting strategies and biodiversity initiatives. Across its product ranges, Actiu continues to increase the use of recycled and recyclable materials while designing for durability, disassembly and circularity.

Today, Actiu exports to more than 90 countries and collaborates with leading international designers including Ramos & Bassols, Archirivolto Design and Alegre Design. Its furniture is specified across corporate offices, coworking environments, education, healthcare and transport projects worldwide.

In the UK, Actiu works closely with architects, designers and end users through its London presence and partner network, providing expertise in workplace strategy, ergonomics and sustainable specification.
