Actiu brings industrial precision to AXIS, the new table collection created with Cosentino and Tom Dixon
Actiu, the Spanish company specialising in the design and manufacture of furniture for corporate, contract, healthcare and educational environments, is a key partner in the development of AXIS, the new table collection unveiled at Milan Design Week 2026 in collaboration with Cosentino and British designer Tom Dixon.

Actiu is Spain’s leading company in the design and manufacture of furniture for corporate, contract, healthcare and educational spaces. A family-owned business with more than 50 years of experience, it creates solutions that make spaces both comfortable and efficient.

AXIS is both a furniture collection and an immersive installation that explores the intersection of design, material innovation and spatial expression. Within this ambitious creative framework, Actiu has been responsible for the structural development of the collection, transforming Tom Dixon’s sculptural vision into an aluminium base of exceptional technical precision.
The result is a system defined by intersecting geometries, architectural clarity and industrial excellence. Developed to support multiple table configurations, the base delivers stability and a refined industrial finish, reinforcing the distinctive identity of the series.

AXIS is conceived around the idea of intersection: where structure meets surface and geometry gives form to matter. This concept takes shape in a new table collection that combines bold crossed-leg forms, advanced engineering and the integration of ĒCLOS®, Cosentino’s new mineral surface developed with INLAYR® technology, which gives the material a three-dimensional appearance with rich veining paired with tactile naturality.
For Actiu, participation in AXIS reflects far more than a design collaboration. It underlines the company’s ability to bring highly ambitious creative concepts into production through a robust industrial ecosystem, advanced automation and a deep commitment to quality.

Jesús Moreno, Head of Product Development at Actiu, explains:
“In this context, Actiu’s participation highlights not only its ability to collaborate with leading international design figures, but also its strong industrial and production capabilities,” explains Jesús Moreno, Head of Product Development at Actiu.
“The company has transformed a highly demanding conceptual proposal into a technically flawless solution, thanks to an advanced, highly automated production ecosystem focused on precision. This industrial capacity allows Actiu to tackle complex projects such as AXIS with guarantees of quality, scalability, and consistency, consolidating its role as a strategic partner capable of materialising highly ambitious creative ideas into outstanding industrial products.”

Actiu’s contribution to AXIS reinforces its position as a trusted industrial partner for international collaborations where design excellence must be matched by engineering expertise and manufacturing precision.
