Swedish flooring producer, Bjelin, develops, manufactures and sells a broad range of flooring products incorporating patented technologies by sister company Välinge Innovation – the inventor of the click floor. The company is famous for its innovative flooring products, most notably the Woodura hardened wood, which is 100% real wood flooring that is three times more durable than engineered wood products. Due to the sustainable production process maximising the use of raw materials, ten times more flooring can be created from the same amount of timber.
Bjelin was founded with the vision of creating high-quality, sustainable and innovative flooring. As new technologies have been developed by sister company, Välinge Innovation, Bjelin has seamlessly integrated these advancements into its flooring products, ensuring the company stays at the forefront of the industry and continue to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
Production takes place in Bjelin’s state-of-the-art factories in Sweden and Croatia, where the company has access to top-quality, FSC-certified wood. For generations, highly experienced employees worked there to refine the well-known Slavonic oak into wine barrels – now they create floors. The company has always aimed to be self-sufficient and, therefore, produces materials in-house while remaining in charge of its production chain. This philosophy has helped the company control growth when expanding, with increased products and sales representatives globally.
