Aethos, the next generation of experience-led boutique hotels and private members’ clubs, unveils its new members’ space within its first UK hotel, the new Aethos Shoreditch London.
Named The Willow Room, the new members space offers a members-only restaurant, bar, library and terrace. Exuding calm and mindful luxury, the new area also offers collaborative work space for meetings and quiet work in the day, while coming to life at night as a vibrant hub for community gatherings, intimate music performances and DJs.

As a members club, Aethos offers true meaningful connection and belonging. It stands apart from the crowd by offering experiences that go outside the club walls and off grid into the city itself, with its curated member experiences. From art tours, intimate, oysters in the wild, Omakase dinners with top chefs and more, Aethos’ cultural programming is built on four core pillars: The Table, The Mix, Wellness Rituals, and Off Grid, all designed to reflect the energy of London, not escape it.

The Willow Room’s design is a continuation of the hotel itself, designed by Barcelona-based Astet Studio, and is a masterclass in refined, narrative-led design. Drawing inspiration from Shoreditch’s industrial and artisanal heritage, the interiors balance raw, textured materials – like terracotta, brushed metals, and layered wood – with warm, tactile finishes. The design preserves the original architectural features, such as a terracotta wall, while introducing bespoke lighting and handcrafted elements created in collaboration with local artisans.
Natural light floods the space, accentuating an urban palette softened by warm accents – creating an atmosphere that feels both grounded and inviting. This layered, immersive approach offers guests a slower, more mindful luxury that speaks to the neighbourhood’s creative spirit and evolving cultural identity.

Complementing the Willow Room will be a dedicated wellness floor with a new class studio and a full schedule of classes alongside a brand new Recovery Area complete with sauna, cold plunge and hot baths. Mitsu, a new Japanese dining concept restaurant, will also launch in Spring 2026 at Aethos London Shoreditch, bringing precision, seasonality, and bold simplicity to the plate.

The members’ space at Aethos London Shoreditch, follows the recent unveiling of Aethos Club Palma, strengthening the brand’s growing membership community across Europe.
