Alternative Flooring Makes a Stripe Statement at Decorex 2025

Alternative Flooring is stepping boldly into Decorex 2025 with its most playful launch yet: the Wool Candy Stripe Collection – a joyful celebration of stripes brought to life with colour, character, and irresistible texture in 100% wool. Known for doing things differently underfoot, Alternative is set to make a statement with three distinctive designs: Pinwheel, Cane, and Lollipop.

Located in a prime position at Stand C24 in the Grand Hall, the Alternative Flooring Candy Stand will be hard to miss. With a theatrical tent-like design that echoes the cheerful spirit of the Candy Stripe collection, the stand invites visitors to step into a bold, imaginative world where stripes take centre stage.

In true sweet-shop style, visitors can collect their favourite flooring samples in a Candy Bag brimming with stripes and sprinkled with real candy. Just like choosing pick ‘n’ mix, the experience will be all about indulging in irresistible textures and colours to take away and enjoy.

Alongside the new Candy Stripe, Alternative will also mark a major milestone – the launch of brand new Margo Selby Carnival Stripes to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the brand’s creative collaboration with the acclaimed British textile designer. To mark the celebration, the team will welcome visitors to ‘wear their stripes’ and toast ten years on the stand on Monday 13th October.

The stand will also spotlight some of its other exciting innovations launched this year, including the newest addition to the award-winning, best-selling Anywhere Ca-rPET collection in a striking Diamond weave, as well as the groundbreaking Echo-CoRE collection, the brand’s first fully circular carpet designed to be returned and repurposed after years of use.
