Amtico Brings Timeless Elegance to Heythrop Park
Set amid 440 acres of rolling Cotswold parkland, Heythrop Park Hotel is a Grade II* Listed manor house reborn for today’s luxury traveller. When Warner Leisure appointed DesignLSM to modernise the estate, the challenge was clear: honour the building’s 18th-century grandeur while crafting a contemporary hospitality experience. Amtico’s Signature and Spacia luxury vinyl tile (LVT) collections proved the perfect solution, offering the durability and design flexibility needed to bridge past and present.
DesignLSM specified Amtico flooring throughout the manor and its modern extension, using laying patterns that echo the historic property yet withstand heavy footfall. In the dramatic Brassey Bar – named after former estate owner and Victorian railway magnate Thomas Brassey – the team laid Key Stone Mini in Graphite Slate and Composite Calcium, framed by Dark Walnut Stripwood Xtra and Diffusion Charcoal. The result? A striking floor that zones seating areas, celebrates industrial heritage and invites guests to linger over cocktails.
In The Orangery, Amtico’s Key Stone Small in Stucco Quartz and Stucco Flax floods the space with classical geometry. The pattern, influenced by Victorian tilework and the hotel’s ‘enchanted fishpond’ motif, sits within a border of Diffusion Charcoal and Encaustic Kyanite – complementing the calm green upholstery and bespoke ‘submerged’ wallpaper.
