Bringing the Outdoors In: Inside Scion’s New Pomona Collection

Scion has unveiled Pomona, a new wallpaper collection that stays true to the brand’s whimsical, playful spirit while celebrating the beauty of nature.

 

Founded in 2013, Scion has been creating charismatic British designs for contemporary homes since its first collection launch, 12 years ago. Now, the brand continues to bring that same affable wit and charm to fabric and wallpaper designs, with a flair for fresh takes on patterns that bring joy and, importantly, bold yet comfortable style to interiors.

Inspired by British greenhouse botanicals, Pomona introduces wallpapers with nature-inspired motifs in a fresh palette, and patterns that bring the outdoors in.

 

A continuation of Oakham, Scion’s AW25 collection, Pomona pays homage to its namesake: the goddess of fruitfulness and abundance. A celebration of craftsmanship, designs are hand-painted in Scion’s studio to capture the sweep of the brush, printed for depth, and developed for a fabric-like illusion — resulting in wallpapers rich in colour and tactility.

Butterflies and doves appear alongside delicate florals, geometric patterns, and classic checks and stripes, for an upbeat, quintessentially British collection that transports you into the great outdoors. The collection also features Scion’s first-ever mural wallpaper, Pomona Fig, where bold graphics and stylised fig leaves play with scale.

Claire Greenfield, Lead Designer, says:

“This collection feels like Oakham’s natural sister – carrying forward that distinctive British spirit while evolving the palette and layering in more texture. It celebrates outdoor living, greenhouse gardens, and the joy of bringing nature into the home.

There’s a playful sense of whimsy throughout, from abundant fruits and florals to characterful, typically British details, all brought to life through hand-painted artwork. It’s a collection rooted in wit and warmth.”

All designs are created in the Scion studio in the UK.
