The King’s Arms in Hawkshead, a 17th-century coaching inn, has reopened following a sensitive renovation that preserves its historic charm while introducing a fresh chapter of contemporary hospitality.

Working with local craftspeople, Taylor’s Classics helped shape the interiors with a bespoke bar, reclaimed furniture and traditional pieces designed to feel perfectly at home within the pub’s characterful setting.

As the owner explains:
“From start to finish they were thoroughly professional, highly knowledgeable, and generous with their advice.”

Within the pages of Commercial Interiors UK’s 2026 Directory, you’ll find Warwick Bookman & Associates and we wanted to introduce them properly.

Founded in 1994 by Warwick Bookman, the practice sources property for investors, developers and occupiers, bringing decades of insight shaped by experience across major central London surveying firms (and a market that’s seen both boom and bust).

What stands out is their approach: they take time to understand each client’s circumstances and goals, with a focus on maximising the long-term potential of every transaction.

And unusually for this industry, a substantial part of their fee is driven by the savings they make for clients, which means they’re genuinely incentivised to maximise your savings, with an aim to save you more than 5 times their consultancy fee.

Their core services include:

- Acquisition
- Disposal
- Rent Reviews & Lease Renewals
- Development & Investment

They also work with associates offering:

- Ratings Appeals
- Structural Surveys / Building Surveying

At Warwick Bookman & Associates, they take the time to understand their clients’ property needs so that they can guide you through the process to ensure a successful outcome.

A private sanctuary at 40,000 feet. PriestmanGoode’s Private Studio has unveiled a new rear-cabin concept for a private A350, reimagining the widebody aircraft as an ultra-flexible, deeply personal living environment.

As Ben Rowan, Director at PriestmanGoode, explains:
“We have made sure that the space can really change and modulate, depending on the actual requirements of the user… Utilising the back of an A350 cabin has demonstrated how we can create a private sanctuary separate from the more public spaces further forward in the aircraft.”

Blending adaptive design, material innovation and holistic wellness, this concept signals a new direction for luxury aviation interiors.
