FROZEN pendants and bowls by Creative Director Maxim Velčovský

The Frozen collection was inspired by the transformation of water into ice.This transformation is similar to the work of glassmaking, creating a solid object from a liquid material is an essential characteristic of glass.

Velčovský allows the glass to spill over a metal form and seeks advantage in its natural properties. Each time the molten glass takes a new route, making each of the lights and bowls an original.

Velčovský found inspiration in ice in nature and applied this element of randomness to his craft, the result is a ‘frozen’ sculpture, combining the richness of glass textures, wrinkled details, bubbles and varied thicknesses.
