Harrison Spinks named ‘Bed Manufacturer of the Year’ for Fifth Time at National Bed Federation Awards
Leeds-based fifth-generation luxury bedmaker, Harrison Spinks, has once again been awarded ‘Bed Manufacturer of the Year’ at the 2025 National Bed Federation Awards, winning the coveted award for a second year running and fifth time in total.
Harrison Spinks is one of Great Britain’s most established and innovative bed makers. Established in 1840, it manufactures luxury mattresses under the Harrison Spinks and Somnus brands nationally and internationally, and creates product ranges for national retailers including John Lewis, Dreams and Furniture Village.
The judges commended the business for showing:
“Relentless progress and great performance on not just one or two, but all aspects of this year’s judging criteria.”
The consecutive win reflects a series of significant achievements by the business over the past 12 months, including Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal visiting the company’s farm and factory to present its most recent King’s Award in Sustainable Development – the eighth King’s/Queen’s Award achieved by the business – and Simon Spinks, Chairman of Harrison Spinks, being awarded an OBE for his services to the mattress and bed industry earlier this year.
