Inside Out Contracts Milan in a Van: Bigger Than Ever!

Now in its third and most ambitious year to date, Inside Out Contract’s Milan in a Van is back — delivering an incredible selection of the latest contract-ready furniture designs from Salone del Mobile directly to design studios across London and beyond.

Designers explore tactile finishes and contract-grade materials firsthand — all within the comfort of their own space.

Created by Inside Out Contracts, the tour reimagines how designers engage with products at the point of specification. With busy project timelines and increasingly layered creative demands, the traditional showroom model isn’t always a fit. Milan in a Van turns that process on its head by offering an on-site, trend-led experience, tailored to real studio environments.

A courtyard becomes a personal showroom as Milan in a Van transforms everyday spaces into inspiration hubs.

A Studio-First Approach to Specification

Each stop on the tour presents an eclectic blend of standout pieces and innovative materials, chosen not only for their quality and contract-grade durability, but also for their relevance into shaping 2025/26 design trends — from soft curves and saturated tones to textural finishes and stackable, space-saving forms.

Designers aren’t just shown what’s new — they’re invited to engage with it in their own space, next to the project mood boards they are actively working on.

Daisy designer from B3 Designers said:

“The Milan in a Van concept was brilliant – it was so valuable to experience the products in person and discuss them face-to-face.”

At each stop, Designers can experience an informal yet captivating personal pop-up exhibition to their doorstep that fits around the studio work schedule — no travel required! A unique opportunity to discuss current and upcoming projects with the Inside Out team over a morning iced coffee or a cheeky afternoon glass of bubbly (or a zesty Italian lemonade if you’ve got to head back to the grind).

By bringing the showroom experience directly to studios, Milan in a Van removes the logistical barriers that often slow down the product selection process in a creative and inspiring way. It offers a setting that feels natural, collaborative, and productive — and it’s earning strong feedback across the sector.

Bringing design innovation, conversation, and contract-ready furniture straight to the creative frontlines.

Since the tour launched, Inside Out has met with dozens of hospitality and commercial design teams across the UK. Whether hosted in a courtyard or meeting room, each visit has helped design teams make quicker decisions, explore tactile options, and spark new ideas with ease.

The Road Ahead

Milan in a Van continues through August and September, with bookings open now for interior design teams working on hospitality, F&B, workspace and commercial projects.
