Nordlux: Strap and Artist celebrate 10 years of timeless design

Nordlux are proud to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of two of their most iconic designs – the Strap and Artist series. Both launched in 2015, these designs have become modern classics and key pillars in our Design For The People collection ever since.

Danish design heritage

Strap was created by Danish design duo Bjørn + Balle and combines classic materials in a modern way – with a soft leather strap contrasting the clean metal or glass shade. The design reflects Scandinavian minimalism while adding a warm, personal touch.

Artist was designed by Bønnelycke MDD and draws inspiration from a drum cymbal – resulting in a simple yet striking silhouette. The integrated LED with very high light quality (RA90) and softly curved shape have made Artist a go-to design in both homes and professional spaces.

Over the past decade, Strap and Artist have been featured in countless interiors around the world, appreciated for their unique versatility and design value. To mark the occasion, both series are relaunched in new colours that pay tribute to their legacy while bringing a fresh perspective to the design.
