We are looking for exciting, innovative and fresh stories within the commercial interiors industry alongside some eye-catching images. We love to hear about projects that cover a variety of sectors including Hospitality, Retail, Office, Healthcare, Education and Marine.
HOW TO SUBMIT A STORY
To submit a project for consideration, simply email across a good selection of high resolution .jpeg images (at least 700px wide), approx 400 words text about the project and links where appropriate.
If you need to send zipped images or links to file-sharing sites, please send a few sample images in your email to give us an overview of your project. Great imagery is really important to us, so don’t hold back with the number of images you send through!
WHAT WE LIKE TO RECEIVE
- VIDEOS; If you have a film to go along with your story, we would love to include it! If you are interested in creating video content, let us know and we may have a few opportunities.
- TESTIMONIALS; Quotes and comments about your story are well-received and make for interesting reading.
- EXCLUSIVES; If you are offering us an exclusive story, make this clear and we will certainly make a big fuss of you.
- CREDITS; We will happily give credits and share links as appropriate.
- SUPPLIER LISTS; We want to try and mention all involved in your story, especially if a BCFA member has been part of the project as we would wish to highlight that. We do not pay for photography but we will happily give credits or links.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
If we choose to post your article we will be in touch! It can take time for us to get back to you, but it’s fine to give us a nudge every now and then!
You will be added to our contributors mailing list (a list of people who’ve submitted projects to us or have been published) and you will then receive the occasional email from us asking for press releases or stories that align with our monthly changing themes. If you do not wish to receive these emails, you can unsubscribe at any time.
We do have a content calendar with monthly themes which can be found in our current media pack but don’t worry, if your article does not tie in with our themes we also put out a variety of posts throughout the year!
SHARING IS CARING!
Once we have published your project please share on your social media platforms, newsletters, your website and any other channels you may use. It will help us just as much as it helps you and your project get more attention.
START A CONVERSATION
Make comments on your project in our comments section and start discussions on different platforms. Big up your story and even if they’re negative comments made, responding, challenging and generally engaging with audiences is always a positive.
