Taylor’s Classics Supply Furniture to Clarkson’s Pub

A Staffordshire furniture maker Taylor’s Classics has brought its expertise to one of the UK’s most talked-about new venues, The Farmer’s Dog, Jeremy Clarkson’s recently opened pub.

The journey began with a handwritten letter to Clarkson and Lisa Hogan, offering support with the pub’s interior furnishings. The personal approach struck a chord, leading to an invitation for the Amazon Clarkson’s Farm team and Hogan to visit the company’s Stafford showroom and workshops. After a day of exploring design concepts and showcasing what they could offer, Taylor’s Classics were confirmed as a chosen furniture supplier.

The project called for pieces that would balance character with resilience, complementing the pub’s rural setting while standing up to high levels of use.

The final installation featured: Audley Armchairs, Glasgow Benches with fluted backs, reclaimed dining tables and chairs, Bentwood curved-back dining chairs, and Rustic Gothic dining tables. Each piece reflects a commitment to combining aesthetic appeal with practical durability.

One year on, the furniture continues to perform superbly, enhancing both the pub and restaurant areas with timeless style.

This collaboration has given the Staffordshire business a chance to showcase its work on a national stage. The team expressed their gratitude to Jeremy, Lisa, and the production crew for the opportunity, and wished The Farmer’s Dog continued success for years to come.
