TREVIRA CS

Trevira CS®, a brand of Indorama Ventures. All fabrics bearing the Trevira CS trademark are tested by Indorama Ventures for their flame retardancy. Only after passing the flammability test do the fabrics receive approval and may be marketed under the Trevira CS brand name. They meet the requirements of the relevant international home textile fire safety standards and can be certified according to the IMO regulations for the maritime sector.

Being fully integrated, the production of both the modified flame-retardant staple fibers and filament yarns, all take place in house. Unlike fabrics with a flame-retardant finish, which can lose their initial protection through use, aging or frequent washing, Trevira CS textiles offer long-term safety. This is due to the chemical structure of the polyester fiber: the flame-retardant properties are firmly anchored in the fiber and cannot be washed off.

To meet the ever more complex demands of the market and offer our customers and partners greater flexibility, the Trevira CS concept has been expanded to include two new brands, Trevira CS flex and Trevira CS eco. Besides the high brand quality and performance that Trevira CS customers have come to expect, these two new brands offer properties and functionalities especially tailored to meet specific requirements.
