Four style worlds with different colours and materials were developed by the Frankfurt trend forecasting agency stilbüro bora.herke.palmisano.

The jury made up of Sebastian Herkner of Studio Sebastian Herkner, Markus Hilzinger of FINE ROOMS, Corinna Kretschmar-Joehnk of JOI Design and Sylvia Leydecker of 100% interior selected 302 fabrics and yarns from 51 suppliers to be spotlighted at the booth.

The style world “advanced + sensitive” appears to be highly aesthetic and functional in a balanced mixture of intense fluorescent and neutral shades with clear cuts. The central themes of this visionary trend are quiet, well-being and relaxation. However, style world 2 “balanced + responsible” presents simple forms and restraining colouring which creates a sense of calm.

Natural tones and authentic materials create a calm and unfussed appearance. Realistic, joyful and informal is describing the third style world “spirited + diverse”. Intense hues meet neutral shades and light wood contrast. Trend-setting principles include alternative construction techniques and recycling technologies.

The last style world “sophisticated + singular” is defined as luxurious, elegant and comfortable. The colours have an extraordinary depth and brilliance with soft and voluminous textiles in natural fibre look.
