Shortlist revealed for the Next Generation Awards 2026
As the media outlet of Commercial Interiors UK, Design Insider is proud to support the Next Generation Awards 2026 and help shine a light on the emerging talent shaping the future of the commercial interiors sector.
By sharing the stories, achievements and progression of the people coming through the industry, the awards align closely with Design Insider’s role in championing innovation, insight and the individuals driving the sector forward.

Commercial Interiors UK are pleased to reveal the shortlisted nominees for the Next Generation Awards 2026, sponsored by Silentnight Contract.
Created to champion emerging talent across the commercial interiors sector, the awards recognise the individuals already making a meaningful contribution within their organisations and the wider industry. From apprentices demonstrating exceptional promise to professionals delivering impact in sales, leadership and marketing, the shortlist highlights a new generation of talent helping to define what comes next for the sector.

Judging took place on 24th March 2026, with entries reviewed by an experienced panel drawn from across the industry.

The winners will be announced at the Next Generation Awards 2026 on 23rd April 2026 at Hallé St Peter’s in Manchester, where the industry will come together to celebrate the individuals and teams driving progress across the commercial interiors community.
While the awards shine a light on outstanding achievement, the evening is also designed as a valuable networking occasion for the wider sector. With a drinks reception, three-course dinner, awards presentation and DJ-led informal networking, it offers an opportunity to connect with designers, architects, manufacturers, suppliers, educators and emerging talent from across the industry.
For shortlisted nominees, supporters and businesses alike, the event is a chance not only to celebrate success, but also to be part of a wider industry conversation about talent, development and the future of commercial interiors.
