What Else Can You Show Me? Furniture Firm Launches Dylan-Inspired Installation for HIX 2025

Leading contract furniture firm Furniture Fusion has launched What Else Can You Show Me? A unique, music-inspired installation created in collaboration with design studio Bell & Swift as part of their appearance at HIX London later this month.

Following their award-winning 2024 installation, the Furniture Fusion team has been developing another standout concept, this time responding to the HIX 2025 theme Culture Clash, celebrating the diverse perspectives, traditions, and values that shape the global hotel community.

Inspired by lyrics from one of Bob Dylan’s most influential songs, It’s Alright, Ma (I’m Only Bleeding), this promises to be another must-see moment from Furniture Fusion, far more than a showcase of the firm’s furniture collection and bespoke production. The concept celebrates transformation, the fusion of ideas, and the value of the creative process.

While full details remain under wraps until the event, visitors can expect a visually striking installation designed to spark conversation, challenge convention, and provoke questions.

While music sets the tone, furniture and hospitality design sit at the heart of the project, informed by the team’s two decades of experience collaborating with hotel, bar, and restaurant operators. The installation has been developed with Ashley McCabe and the team at Bell & Swift, with bespoke furniture crafted by Furniture Fusion specifically for the event.

Sam Samuels, Managing Director of Furniture Fusion, commented:

“Our installation for HIX London this year reflects an ethos that has always appealed to me. Let’s resist the urge for perfection and try something new, even if it feels uncomfortable and celebrate the possibility that brings. There’s real freedom in embracing the tension of different approaches to creativity and leaning into a culture clash. I’m really excited to share the installation at this year’s event, and we’re looking forward to welcoming guests for a drink, a chat, and to pick up some bespoke giveaways.”

Design concepts and behind-the-scenes imagery will be shared as final preparations continue, along with a deeper look at the influences and inspirations shaping the interiors.

The full installation will be unveiled on 26 November at the Business Design Centre.
