Celebrating 40 years as one of the UK’s largest, most experienced and trusted independent designers and manufacturers of workspace furniture, Gresham will be showcasing a range of innovative office chairs and its bespoke business solutions, as well as unveiling a new striking corporate identity and website at this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week.
The company’s London Look with Northern Soul exhibit is a celebration of all that Gresham stands for – delivering high quality, dynamic and innovative office furniture with a personal, friendly and professional service associated with this family run True UK manufacturer based in Bolton, Greater Manchester.
Making its debut at the company’s London showroom, the Oscar task chair is designed to break the mould of “austere” task chairs. Oscar allows buyers to add their own personalities and colour schemes to the workplace through an affordable chair built for premium comfort and simplicity of use, with a unique interchangeable backrest and a wide range of colours including orange, yellow and blue. The Oscar has been designed in conjunction with furniture specialists Craig Jones of Jones & Partners who will be one of Gresham’s leading independent guest designers present every day in the showroom to enable visitors to also discuss the latest and future trends and technologies.
Gresham’s Bespoke Furniture Division is also at the forefront of the industry offering creatively designed and handmade bespoke solutions that exceed client’s expectations. The in-house specialist designers are able to combine time-honoured bench joinery and cabinet making expertise with state of the art manufacturing techniques to create bespoke reception, tables, storage and seating. Recent bespoke solutions to be showcased at Clerkenwell Design Week include innovative booth units at Newcastle University’s Marjorie Robinson Library, a spectacular cantilever counter top built into the ground floor communal area of the halls of residence at University of Birmingham, an office refit at Dewsbury Town Hall, and bespoke tables and accessories for West Yorkshire Police Headquarters.
