Dutch Design Week Trend Report

Dutch Design Week Eindhoven is the largest design event in Northern Europe and presents work and concepts from more than 2,600 designers to more than 335,000 visitors from home and abroad.

We couldn’t resist asking Jim Biddulph to fly off and cast his expert eye over the work exhibited.  Jim has curated our Dutch Design Week Trend Report to bring you the event’s highlights and trends, which include Strijp, known as the home of material exploration during the fair, as well as the research-based design duo Renee Mennen and Stefanie Van Keijsteren who showcased their new collection which sought to answer the questions ‘Can porcelain colour itself?’ and ‘What does it take to revive a collection of carpets?’
