Furniture is easy to see. Expertise is harder to spot.

Yet it’s often the expertise behind a project that has the greatest impact, preventing costly mistakes, reducing waste, solving logistical challenges and ensuring design intent survives the journey from concept to completion.

When we visited @rha_furniture ‘s London HQ, we discovered a business built on knowledge. From material efficiency and compliance to guest behaviour, manufacturing and installation, the team’s value lies not simply in what they source, but in the questions they ask before a project reaches site.

For designers, operators and procurement teams, that’s where experience becomes invaluable.

MoreySmith’s transformation of The Harewood is a reminder that great workplace design isn’t just about interiors, it’s about perception, positioning and creating a destination people want to be part of.

Working with J.P. Morgan Asset Management, the studio has repositioned the former 2 Harewood Place into a 26,000 sq ft boutique workplace, blending hospitality-inspired design, premium materials and a renewed sense of identity while preserving the existing structure and its embodied carbon.

The result is a workplace designed for occupiers who value quality, character and location in equal measure.

What does workplace design look like when every element is considered part of a bigger whole?

At Clerkenwell Design Week 2026, Knoll presented two very different responses to that question.

Konzert, a new private office system by Paolo Dell’Elce, offers architects and designers a flexible toolkit for creating integrated workplace environments, balancing architecture, furniture and interior planning within a single system.

Alongside it, the Morrison Hannah Chair made its UK debut. Originally designed in 1973 by Bruce Hannah and Andrew Morrison, the reissued task chair combines residential comfort with workplace performance, proving that great design really can stand the test of time.

Two launches. Two scales. One shared philosophy: thoughtful design that adapts to the way we work today.
