Jolie Welcomes New Team Members following International Client Portfolio Growth

International interior design studio Jolie are continuing to expand their senior team after winning a growing number of national and international projects in the first half of 2023.

Amelia Barratt joins as Business Director, to drive business growth and client development, alongside Jess Gjini, whose role as Marketing Lead will focus on strategy and Jolie’s continuing international expansion. CGI Artist Ed Bilimoria has also joined the team, to deliver high-end CGI visualisation across Jolie’s growing project portfolio.

Currently employing 11 people across its Manchester and London studios, Jolie is continuing to recruit skilled people for several roles to support new business wins and growth. There are already two further appointments lined up for 2023 Q3-4, with details to follow shortly.

Amelia joins Jolie with over 10 years experience in the property sector. With a real-estate background, managing commercial assets for funds, property companies and developers, she has joined Jolie’s Management team to drive business growth and play a major role in client development.

She will be responsible for managing the efficient flow of projects from lead generation through to completion, ensuring Jolie’s clients benefit from a seamless process. In previous roles she led in property repositioning, delivering brand and destination strategies for a global client base, and pivoting underperforming spaces to realise their full potential. Amelia will be based out of Jolie’s North HQ.

Jess Gjini, Marketing Lead

With a breadth of experience across retail and hospitality, specialising in the growth of both teams and businesses, Jess is the first of a new team within Jolie, focusing on Business Development, Strategy and Marketing.

Jess’s role will focus on strategy and business growth, where she will play a leading role in Jolie’s international expansion, as well as growth of Jolie’s London team growth, utilising her skills in marketing, sales and people management. Past roles have seen Jess develop and re-structure hospitality and retail teams and processes, most notably during her time at Gail’s Bakery and London Mosaic. Jess will be based out of Jolie’s London HQ.

Ed Bilimoria, CGI Artist

Possessing an acute eye for detail, and wealth of experience in client liaison, teams and delivery, Ed has over seven year’s experience as a CGI Artist working in Melbourne, Australia, as well as great knowledge of construction and interior design following a Bachelor’s degree of Design (Interior Design) and a diploma in Interior Design and Decoration.

Ed’s work ranges from high-end marketing visuals, through to architectural and interior design development, as well as photorealistic visualisation. Previous experience includes design development renders for the interiors team at Bruce Henderson Architects, Melbourne, and high-end marketing CGI delivery and Client Liaison with Large Arts, in Melbourne. Ed will be based out of Jolie’s North HQ.

As a young team, Jolie bring a unique perspective to the world of interior design, embodying the millennial mindset to create spaces where individuals of all ages and backgrounds thrive. Acting as interior consultants or principal designers, Jolie collaborate with contractors, architects, suppliers and project managers to deliver from concept to construction.
