Specifying for Bathroom Accessories

The CPD discusses the factors that designers need to consider when specifiying for bathroom accessories for commercial projects – the base material, the chrome plating or finishing specification and whether the product has been designed for the purpose it will be used for. It looks into each of these factors; at non- ferrous materials, the chrome plating service conditions are more closely at Service Condition 2 which is required for bathrooms, the testing is required to check these service conditions and other design features required for products in this setting.
