Let’s Discuss The Virtual Interiors Event!

Last month, Design Insider proudly announced our Media Partnership with the Virtual Interiors (VI) Event (read here). A new and virtual event which has been specifically tailored for the Commercial Industry and is taking place between the 24th – 25th of February 2021. Invented by innovative thinkers and business experts, Sally Rice and Beth Harrison, this event has been created by industry, for the industry.

This event is the ideal place for people and businesses within the Commercial Interiors Industry who are looking to join forces, come together and delve into virtual networking, product innovation and thought leadership.

Benefit from liaising with like-minded people and businesses from within the sector, generating leads, driving awareness and developing your network. Virtual networking is a superb approach to finding out more about the industry and organisations within it; all from the comfort of your home.

The VI Event has carefully curated a fantastic choice of speakers from within the industry. Speakers will share their extensive knowledge and specific expertise in the key and pertinent topics to your business.

Be up-to-date with captivating and fascinating creations from 2020 and 2021, as well as being introduced to the very latest, cutting-edge product inventions that are impending.

Design Insider is pleased to inform you that BCFA Members, KI Furniture and Camira Fabrics will be exhibiting at this new, exciting event. We talk with both BCFA exhibitors to find out more…

KI Furniture

We sit down with Rishi Mehra, Marketing Manager at KI Furniture to find out about their plans for the VI Event.

“KI is proud to support this great new initiative to keep our industry connected, especially during these unusual times. We look forward to learning from others how they are meeting today’s challenges, as well as sharing some of our own insights and experiences.”
Rishi Mehra

What is your reason for exhibiting?
We wanted to complement our growing library of digital resources with the benefits of bringing people together, to make our current way of remote working more experiential. There is a unique value in bringing people together to share ideas, keep in touch and broadening our horizons. The Virtual Interiors Event we felt was a good chance to support a new initiative, and participate alongside others in our industry – not only share our newest product innovations but to discover other perspectives and experiences as well.

What can your customers expect to see on your virtual stand?
We have a number of new products that have been created to support agile and flexible spaces – which we predict will be of great importance in the post-COVID world of working and learning. The team will be on hand to discuss these, as well as recent examples of how some of our customers are adapting their facilities in the wake of this pandemic.

What products will you be showcasing?
Colonnade is a product that brings together many elements of our existing collections, and ultimate will help redefine workspaces to be more adaptable and user-controlled. This storage and framework system can be enhanced and accessorised with lighting, AV equipment, acoustic treatments, magnetic whiteboards, flexible seating and tables. There will also be products like Myke and Ricochet on display, launched in early 2021 to help create flexible, dynamic learning and training environments. Ricochet and Colonnade in particular are highly relevant to those looking to design for neurodiversity.

Will you have salespeople on the stand to speak to?
Yes, all of our sales team will be taking turns to attend the stand and meet with guests. They are also looking forward to attending the various sessions throughout the 2 days, to expand their knowledge of the various issues being discussed.

Camira Fabrics

Next, we speak to Events and Exhibition Manager, Zoe Milnes at Camira Fabrics to find out about their exciting plans for the VI Event.

“In this new virtual world, VI is the perfect platform for us to join together – once again – at an industry event; to explore, learn from, and be inspired by one another. We can’t wait to catch up with our customers and peers in such an exciting, innovative space.”
Zoe Milnes

What is your reason for exhibiting?
With physical events and exhibitions currently on hold, and in-person meetings temporarily paused, staying in touch has never been more important – and it’s vital that we explore new ways to connect with one another – whether that’s showcasing product launches online, presenting virtual CPD seminars, or simply having a platform to catch up on the latest interior trends with other likeminded people. Luckily, Virtual Interiors brings all these things together, under one (virtual) roof. Created and supported by industry specialists, the event is the ideal opportunity to ensure our networking stream remains open, and that we remain connected to the people and companies that make this industry everything it is.

What can your customers expect to see on your virtual stand?
We’ll be showcasing some of our standout products from the last 12 months, including Oceanic, our first textile to include recycled marine waste, and Yoredale, our highly textured British wool fabric. These will be supported by a selection of educational brochures and inspirational videos that will be available for visitors to download.

What products will you be showcasing?
We have some beautiful new fabrics to share with our customers, including Craggan Flax, a deeply textured, naturally sustainable textile, and Sumi & Kyoto, a delicate worsted wool pairing inspired by traditional Japanese artistry. We also have Camira StaySafe, an advanced textile treatment, to present to customers – in a world in which hygiene and health are today’s top priorities, this new state-of-the-art technology can help create safer interior spaces by reducing the potential for viral transmission from fabric surfaces in commercial spaces.

Will you have salespeople on the stand to speak to?
Yes, our team of knowledgeable Sales Managers will be available throughout the event to chat through product introductions, discuss new capabilities or just have a general catch up on everything that’s been happening over the last 12 months.

Design Insider is ever so excited about the Virtual Interiors Event; we can’t wait to network, learn, expand our knowledge and find out about the latest innovations. Click here to book your free ticket today or click here to find out about registering to exhibit. See you there!
