UK MADE: KIRKBY DESIGN

Influential British interiors brand, Kirkby Design, has a contemporary and sometimes playful approach to innovative design and colour. Pioneering unique design collaborations including the recent Eley Kishimoto and successful Underground collection with Transport for London, Kirkby Design also creates distinctive textiles from its in-house studio in London.

Kirkby Design is part of The Romo Group, a family run business in its fifth generation. The range is available worldwide through an extensive network of selected interior designers and retail outlets.

Capturing imaginations with a fresh approach to wool, Beam breathes new life into classic checks and introduces statement designs that have a tailored and sophisticated feel.

Expertly woven on traditional looms in the Scottish countryside, this collection of pure wools embodies the vibrancy of British style. Kirkby Design have paired traditional techniques with a rich colour palette and modern designs, including a striking flame stitch and an original camouflage design, creating a contemporary collection that commands attention.

“Kirkby Design has always drawn influence from the fashion industry, in particular with our colours and use of textures. For our Beam collection we aspired to create designs which stood out as something different from existing products on the wool market and we wanted to work with British mills to achieve this. Beam is fashion-led but timeless and is versatile in its appeal as the collection transcends both modern and traditional interior tastes.”
