Your wishes come true with Johnson Tiles NEW ‘GENIE’ Tool

Johnson Tiles has created a new interactive tile-picking tool that expertly matches its extensive range of products to any uploaded photo.

Colour Genie (800x539)

The new ‘Colour Genie’ tool, developed to launch the manufacturer’s new website, processes an image’s featured colours and tones – whether it’s a scene, decorative object or piece of furniture – before suggesting matching or complementary tile products to suit.

The new tool also features a ‘search by colour’ option, allowing users to create their own personal, unique colour palette based on an image or chosen tone.

Johnson Tiles’ new responsive website, created to mark its 115th anniversary, works across all mobile platforms, making it easy for users to use Colour Genie to get product matching on the go.

Darren Clanford, Creative Director of Johnson Tiles, says;

“Inspiration is everywhere and can be instantly captured – we wanted to give people the opportunity to explore the design opportunities this presents.

For the first time, interior designers, architects and consumers have a real-life, accurate way to match our entire product catalogue to their favourite items, scenes and colours. The tool really opens up our range, it suggests colours, tones and decoratives you may not even have considered, to create truly unique schemes.

In today’s world, where everything can be instantly captured and shared, Colour Genie is a very forward-thinking, personal, intuitive approach to surface design – putting us very firmly at the cutting-edge of tile manufacturing, design and selection.”
