Step inside the story of King Street Townhouse hotel.

This September, Manchester’s interiors community is invited to join Telegraph Furniture for an evening of conversation, connection and behind-the-scenes insight at one of the city’s most characterful hotels.

Moderated by Design Insider’s Alys Bryan, the panel will bring together Jenn Lees, Senior Interior Designer at EPR Architects; Falko Lukesch, General Manager at The Hut Group; and Michael Downes, Business Development Manager at Telegraph Furniture, to explore how creative vision, commercial priorities and specialist expertise came together to shape the finished spaces.

Guests will also tour King Street Townhouse, experiencing first-hand the bedrooms, event spaces and bespoke furniture at the heart of the discussion.

Department store concessions all too often feel like temporary fixtures.⁠

For its first retail project, Jolie has transformed the 4th & Reckless concession in Selfridges Manchester into an immersive boutique experience, using spatial storytelling, sensory design and a carefully curated customer journey to challenge what a concession can be.⁠
⁠
From the flow of the space to the introduction of scent, softened acoustics and tactile materials, every decision encourages visitors to slow down, explore and connect with the brand in a more meaningful way.⁠
⁠
It`s an interesting example of how retail design isn`t always about creating something bigger. Sometimes it`s about making even a small footprint feel entirely its own.⁠
