Roman Completes Installation at Malaysia’s Renowned Millen Hotel
The UK’s leading shower designer and manufacturer, Roman, is delighted to announce the installation of its premium showering solutions at the newly refurbished Millen Hotel in Penang, Malaysia. This project has been two years in the making, beginning with the mockup room phase and progressing through to full installation across the hotel’s newly designed spaces.
The Millen Hotel is one of Malaysia’s most iconic and recognisable properties, on the main seafront in Penang, and its refurbishment marks an important moment for the region’s hospitality landscape. Roman’s involvement throughout the development has ensured that the hotel’s bathrooms reflect the same level of quality, refinement, and attention to detail seen throughout the wider project.
Roman’s shower systems were selected for their durability, design integrity, and ability to enhance the guest experience – values that have shaped the company’s reputation both in the UK and internationally. All products were manufactured at Roman’s headquarters in County Durham, where the company carries out full inhouse production, from design and glass fabrication to assembly and testing.
Roman was tasked with creating a bespoke design solution for this project: a fully framed 8mm Wetroom Panel, created as a twopiece system with matt black framing and custom engineered components. With the Millen Hotel comprising 146 luxurious guest rooms, the project demanded not only largescale manufacturing capability but also unwavering attention to quality, durability, and premium finish.
