Libra Interiors has announced a strategic partnership with global furniture brand SUNPAN, expanding its Contract Viable programme with a wider offering of crib-5 upholstery and contract-ready furniture.⁠
⁠
Launching from June 2026, the partnership introduces an extended collection of 200 contract products available from Libra’s UK warehouse, alongside access to more than 4,000 SUNPAN pieces for larger-scale hospitality and commercial projects.⁠

As Managing Director Paul McLaughlin explains:⁠
“We design our collections around how spaces are truly used… this partnership allows us to extend our contract offering with products that align with our approach to thoughtful design, craftsmanship and material integrity.”⁠

Horizon Youth Zone, designed by John Puttick Associates, transforms a cluster of historic Victorian warehouses on the banks of the River Freshney into a vibrant campus dedicated to young people.⁠
⁠
At the heart of the project is the idea that civic architecture can play a meaningful role in community renewal, combining heritage-led regeneration with modern facilities for sport, creativity, wellbeing and social connection.⁠
⁠
Key features include:⁠
• The adaptive reuse of 19th-century riverside warehouses⁠
• A dramatic triple-height social space at the heart of the building⁠
• A new zinc-clad wing housing a sports hall, climbing wall and performance space⁠
• Sustainable strategies delivering significant operational energy improvements⁠
⁠

“It has been a long and fascinating journey… transforming these historic warehouses into a youth hub has been incredibly rewarding. It’s exciting to see the revival of a key part of Grimsby’s townscape contributing towards renewal of the town centre and the life of the community.”⁠
