HIX2023: Creative Collaboration Unveiled – Furniture Fusion Collaborates with Top Design Studios
The UK’s leading contract furniture firm Furniture Fusion has launched ‘3 is a Magic Number’ – a unique collaboration with three noted design studios as part of their appearance at key industry event HIX2023 this month.

Across two days of expo, talks, installations and networking, Hotel Interiors Experience (HIX) celebrates everything that makes hotels great and brings the hotel interiors supply chain together under one roof at London’s Business Design Centre.
Studio du Feu
The three design studios are Bell & Swift, Studio du Feu and 3D Reid – all have worked with Furniture Fusion on a range of projects in the past and each brings their own style and approach to the campaign. Each studio has been given a different area to design: a hotel lounge & lobby, restaurant & bar and bedroom all feature, covering the three key areas of a contemporary hotel. While the finished rooms showcase a diversity of design styles, influences and trends, all three feature Furniture Fusion’s bespoke furniture and make use of innovative and sustainable materials.
Bell & Swift
The project amplifies the distinct creative approach of each practice, how they’ve chosen to curate their space on the Furniture Fusion HIX2023 stand, and how this collaboration has delivered original hotel designs with personality and character. Each studio has given their perspective on design for hospitality, documented their creative process and explored how they work together with Furniture Fusion to bring future-facing interiors to life.
3D Reid
Moodboards, design concepts and behind-the-scenes images will be shared as final preparations for the event continue, along with interviews with each of the design teams looking at the influences and inspirations that shape these interiors.

We’ve particularly enjoyed creating some beautiful bespoke pieces in collaboration with the teams, using really innovative, sustainable materials that we think will be widely used for hospitality design in the future.”
