Celebrating their recent achievement of becoming a Carbon Neutral organisation in 2023, Skopos brings a sustainable and vintage boutique feel to contract upholstery with this latest offering. Eider is crafted from 100% Polyester, ingeniously transforming post-consumer waste into a luxurious and soft fabric. The collection features a concise palette of neutrals and dusty tones, each fabric backed with a halogen-free, flame retardant Crib5 coating.

The Eider collection not only meets severe contract requirements with its 45,000 Martindale rubs durability but also boasts a soft chenille surface, adding a touch of luxury to commercial spaces. Moreover, the Eider fabrics comply with UK and European standards for flame retardancy and are suitable for marine/cruise interiors, meeting the International Maritime Organization (IMO) requirements.

In a market increasingly focused on the full lifecycle of contract textiles, Skopos continues to pave the way towards a more sustainable future. The Eider line complements Skopos’ extensive range of designs, including a vast array of printed fabrics, and proudly joins the company’s Accents range as an ECO-friendly product.
