Galerie Wallcoverings unveils their latest collection of luxury wallcoverings – Fagring!

Fagring combines hand drawn craft with sophisticated large scale pattern design, bordering between fantasy and reality. Designed by Swedish Artist Lina Schnaufer, inspiration for this collection mostly came from nature, especially the circle of life. ‘Fagring’ means beautiful in English; she captures perfectly the fleeting beauty and transient elements of dusk and dawn, of the seasons, of everything beginning, living and ending. Of endless summer days and intense winter storms, of the early flutters in spring to the icy stillness of mid-winter. The collection translates the harmonies, vitality, and balance of natural life via the use of flowers and foliage, offering a lyrical depiction of existence.

The designs all include dense organic shapes on a plain background, arranged into repeat patterns that create movement on the wall, bringing the outdoors in. The plains in this collection are worth mentioning in particular due to their artisanal appearance. They have a fantastic fibrous, matte finish almost like papier mâché.

There is a serene beauty in Nordic landscapes, and this is reflected in the two-dimensional, stylised designs.

Fagring offers six distinct patterns in a variety of subdued colour schemes. The palette is very much in keeping with Swedish tradition, perfect for creating a warm and inviting ambiance in the home.

A combination of artistic elements and sophisticated pattern development creates depth and visual interest, offering a natural elegance that suits a variety of interior styles.

Fagring consists of paper on a non-woven base and is a paste-the-wall application.

Non-woven wallpapers offer several advantages over traditional paper wallpapers, including easy installation, removal, and maintenance.

They are also breathable, durable, and can effectively conceal wall imperfections.

Any design from this beautiful collection will be a long lasting addition to a hospitality setting!
