HIX2023: EdmundBell use HIX as their New Product Launch Pad

Innovation and design were at the heart of Hotel Interiors Experience (HIX), where two days of expo, talks, installations, and networking converged to celebrate the essence of exceptional hotels. Held at London’s Business Design Centre, HIX was a premier event that united the hotel interiors supply chain, offering a showcase of established and emerging brands, and unveiling the latest trends that defined excellence in hotel design.

At the forefront of this dynamic landscape was Edmund Bell, a leader in supplying fabrics and accessories to the contract, commercial, institutional, and domestic interior markets. With a commitment to providing design-led technical expertise and unparalleled support, Edmund Bell is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to designers, specifiers, and contractors, ensuring that every project received the attention and quality it deserved.

Edmund Bell took the opportunity to utilise the HIX platform to launch two new collections:

Country File Pint Collection

The COUNTRY FILE collection boasts five unique fabric lines, each exuding its distinct character and allure. Each fabric collection comes in six beautiful colours, hand-picked to inspire.

This nature-themed collection includes three feature patterns and two coordinating designs. The combination of floral motifs and harmonious colour palettes makes it perfect for creating inviting and uplifting interiors in the hospitality and healthcare sectors.

Straw is a warm and inviting soft hue, Peacock adds depth and luxury with its rich vibrancy, Truffle combines charcoal and ochre for a versatile neutral tone, Hunter Green is a deep, calming nature-inspired shade, Duck Egg offers a soothing pastel blue, and Indigo is bold and demands attention. This diverse range offers a perfect blend of elegance and charm, catering to varied aesthetic preferences and design needs.

Sustainable Range

New this year is Edmund Bell’s most recent eco-innovations: two recycled sheer materials, a versatile dual-sided dimout, and an industry-first, fully recycled blackout fabric. Each fabric has been meticulously developed to support and enhance projects across hospitality, leisure, healthcare, education, workspace, cruise, and public sectors.

RESET, a pioneering decorative blackout fabric, is woven from 100% recycled yarns, offering timeless elegance for any contract environment. DUO, a double-sided dimout, captures the essence of sustainable luxury, blending post-consumer recycled polyester with natural fibres to present a fabric that’s both environmentally conscious and exquisitely designed.

In a nod to performance and aesthetics, new LINK and SWAY sheer fabrics feature inherently flame-retardant (FR) recycled polyester REPREVE®️ yarns, sourced from a cycle of post-consumer plastic bottles and pre-consumer waste. LINK boasts a sculptured wide-grid facade, while SWAY provides the charm of natural linen.
