HIX2023: Skopos Unveils Kiara Dimout Collection
Skopos chose the HIX event as the platform for the launch of its new collection, Kiara – Dimout Fabrics and Dimout Curtains. Expanding its renowned ‘Accents’ range, Skopos has meticulously curated Kiara dimout, a fabric selected for its broad colour palette, soft handle, and elegant drape, making it the perfect textured solution for contract curtains. Skopos recognises HIX as an ideal stage for unveiling this versatile collection, as the event aligns with the brand’s commitment to bringing new commercial products to market, providing a platform that amplifies innovation, design excellence, and industry collaboration.
Kiara stands out for its unique ability to significantly reduce light transmission without plunging the room into complete darkness, ensuring over 97% light reduction for optimal privacy while allowing a gentle infusion of natural light. The dimout quality of Kiara is complemented by its wide width, minimizing sewing time and offering a versatile design solution. This launch adds a dynamic dimension to Skopos’ dimout offerings, which already include Mezzanotte designs, Sera, Nox, and Nero. Beyond aesthetics, Kiara boasts thermal properties, effectively retaining heat within the room, and serves as an acoustic solution for commercial spaces by enhancing sound absorption.

The collection meets the requirements for Flame Retardancy standards across the UK and Europe, and meets IMO standards, for marine/cruise-line interiors. Available immediately, with short lead-times for larger order quantities, Skopos are pleased to add this collection into their Accents range towards the end of 2023.
