At ILIV, they are committed to creating beautiful fabrics that are stylish and high-performing whilst ensuring they are sustainably sourced and socially responsible. The team believe that sustainability is not just a phase or buzzword, it’s critical to the future of our planet and population. This is why, as a Planet Mark Certified company, they are dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint by 5% each year. From the fibres we use to the processes they employ, every aspect of their production is carefully considered to minimise our environmental impact and support the communities where we operate.

Seattle

To meet this commitment, ILIV use a variety of sustainable materials in their fabric collections, including BCI Cotton, organic cotton, and natural fibres like bamboo yarn, and flax. At ILIV, they believe that sustainability and style go hand in hand; that’s why they are dedicated to creating beautiful, high-quality fabrics that are also kind to the planet.

ILIV will be showcasing a whole new collection at Clerkenwell Design Week 2023 following the successful launch of their brand new contract fabric, Seattle, which launched in April this year. Seattle is a luxurious collection of fire retardant woven bouclé’s, suitable for upholstery. Available in 23 beautiful on trend colours as well as being a sustainable collection made from 77% recycled polyester, Seattle is proving to be highly popular.

Adding to the Spring/Summer 2023 contracts fabric collection, ILIV are launching a further 3 new product collections coinciding with Clerkenwell Design Week; Oakland, Hemsby and Lowther. The Oakland upholstery is a beautiful flame retardant velvet with a dry handle and mottled cotton fleck, made of 73% recycled polyester and 27% BCI Cotton. Each 100cm of Oakland is equivalent to recycling twenty-eight 500ml plastic bottles, making it an eco-friendly choice.

Next they have Hemsby, a lustrous sustainable velvet upholstery collection boasting 100% recycled polyester, flame retardant coating and stain resistant properties, making it the ideal fabric for a contract environment as it is both high performing and versatile. This is something we pride ourselves on at ILIV.
