For Paris Deco Home 2023 Lincrusta was delighted to announce a collaboration with 2 renowned French Houses in the field of high decoration. Duval & Mauler and Argile peintures.
The Pop Up on the left bank showcased a sublime synergy of natural textured wallcoverings, beautifully crafted by Lincrusta, exquisitely hand painted by the masters of advanced decorative techniques Duval et Mauler, in a sophisticated curation of Argile’s natural paints.
Modern geometry meets 18th Century design with Trellis – an incredibly versatile pattern, inspired by the intricately glazed doors of London’s most revered furniture-makers, and a future classic in the making.
The Trellis is inspired by the great 18th century British furniture makers – Thomas Chippendale / Thomas Sheraton / George Hepplewhite. All these famous designers worked in London and were highly influenced by the trend for Chinoiserie, a style which has rarely come out of fashion for the last 300 years. Among the wealth of furniture designs they produced they were renowned for their stylish and intricate glazed cabinet doors.
