Roman Launch Wave
Roman, International market leading shower designer and manufacturer has launched a new Shower Enclosure, which is an ideal space saving product, is inclusively designed for all and is leading the market in style and fashion, the Lumin8 Wave Walk-In.
The brand new Lumin8 Wave Walk-In will instantly create a true style statement in your bathroom, with its curves and unique design. The curvaceous nature of the Walk-in presents a luxuriously large showering area – and the curved glass which helps to create improved water integrity cleverly stows inside its own curve when not in use and provides wide and comfortable access into the showering area. The inward opening curved moving panel rotates smoothly through 180 degrees and incorporates a clear PVC seal to enhance water integrity further. The Enclosure stands at 1950mm high, with 8mm thick glass, 25mm of vertical adjustment and an optional chromed brass brace bar is included.
The Wave Walk-In fits perfectly into the very popular Walk-In Enclosure/Wetroom bathroom trend. It has its own dedicated low level Shower Tray so you do not have to install a complete Wetroom. In the Wetroom market 95% use low level trays rather than installing a complete Wetroom, this makes for easy installation and saves time. The dedicated Wave Walk-In Shower Tray is manufactured from Roman Stone using Solid Surface Technology at their Tray Plant in the North East. The tray is designed with an incline in the Solid Surface tray to allow the moving panel to be stowed without touching the fixed curved panel and when the moving panel is moved to the open position the slope of the tray ensures that the panel stays in the open position. The dedicated Shower Tray is available in a white matt or gloss finish and also unique shimmer finishes in grey, white and black for a design led finish. The step up into the showering area is eliminated with the low level Shower Tray, so it offers level entry access into the showering area, which makes it ideal for the entire family. The Enclosure can also be installed straight to floor using Roman’s Shield Wetroom System, which includes everything you need to tank a room, including complete wetroom kits to make the process easy.
As UK bathrooms are becoming smaller, the Lumin8 Wave Walk-In is perfect as it is a key space saving product. It corresponds to common Shower Enclosure footprints and does not open out into the bathroom area, allowing for existing bathroom fixtures and fittings. It meets all user needs with any ability and at any age, with its totally inclusive design.
