Roman’s Flexible Wetroom

Leading UK shower designer and manufacturer, Roman, have introduced an innovative new wetroom product, the Pivoting ‘L’ Panel to provide additional water integrity for a wetroom.

Roman’s new Embrace Pivoting Panel is the newest addition to their Wetroom Systems collection, offering a stylish way to add reassurance of increased water integrity to your wetroom. The ‘L’ Panel stands at 2000mm high with 8mm thick glass and 200mm and 400mm sizes are available to ensure the perfect specification for your wetroom. The Panel rotates through 180 degrees allowing you to fold it inwards for wider and easier entry access and it can also be positioned inline with the wetroom panel to add length and provide additional water integrity. The Panel will help to guide the water back into the showering area to help avoid water splashing out into your bathroom. The Pivoting Panel provides a smooth pivoting motion when moved into its desired position.

The Pivoting ‘L’ Panel is suitable for use with all Roman Embrace Corner Panels and Linear Panels. The Panel incorporates Roman’s Ultra Care pre-coated glass protection as standard, which promotes easy cleaning and lasting sparkling clarity of the glass. The product also carries Roman’s service backed Truelife Lifetime Guarantee, to offer the customer complete piece of mind when purchasing a Roman product.

Roman’s new Pivoting ‘L’ Panel joins their growing range of Wetroom Systems, which present complete minimalism and inclusivity in the showering area. Roman’s collection of wetroom shower panels incorporates a variety of different styles, from totally minimalist versions in their Embrace range, through to curved options in their Lumin8 range. Roman presents a wide range of sizes to suit your individual space and in both corner and linear versions.

The wetroom panels can either be installed onto a shower tray, or installed straight down to floor. When wetroom panels are installed on to a low level shower tray it simulates a wetroom look, it removes the traditional step up into the showering area and offers level access entry. When installing straight to floor, your floor and walls must be tanked. You can use a system such as the Roman Shield to tank your space, which includes everything you need to tank a room, including complete wetroom kits to make the process easy.

David Osborne, Managing Director of Roman, commented: “We are delighted to launch our innovative Embrace Pivoting Panel to help provide added water integrity for wetroom panels, whilst also presenting a stylish and minimalist look. A more enclosed showering experience is preferred in the UK bathroom, which makes our wetroom panels with the added Pivoting Panel the perfect option as it presents a wetroom in its styling, whilst also providing an enclosed showering area.”
